Led by renowned fitness and dance expert Teodora Lazuran, Ars Nova Dance Studio has been inspiring students for over 30 years. After winning numerous national championship titles in rhythmic gymnastics, Teodora founded the studio in 1997 and has since become a highly respected coach, choreographer, and fitness instructor.
In addition to her work at Ars Nova, Teodora is also the founder and president of the Romanian National Cheerleaders Association and the National Fitness/Aerobic School Ars Nova. She holds multiple fitness licenses and is an expert in various styles of dance, including contemporary, lyrical, jazz, acro, and ballet.
In 2021, Ars Nova Dance Studio relocated to Miami, bringing its renowned teaching style and community-focused approach to a new audience. Under Teodora’s guidance, our studio is committed to providing a welcoming, inclusive space for dancers of all ages and skill levels to learn, grow, and thrive.

Helena Rivas is an educator and performer with a Venezueian background. Professional dancer specialized in urban dance. Coming from the renowned Venezuelan dance academy Musa Studio. She handle various styles, including: hip hop, popping, afro dance, Latin dance, contemporary, jazz and flamenco
