Each of us is blessed with a talent that is unique to us. Man say behind every great idea, there is an inspiring story… dancers, teachers, coaches and the Ars Nova idea got inspired from our very own world champion, Founder and Artistic Director, Teodora Lazuran.
The passion for sports has led Teodora to actively engage in the healthy way of life of her community and contributed through the activities organized to the awareness that movement is essential for the body and mind and it is a decisive factor in the harmonious development of children and in keeping everyone in shape.
Our overall objective
..is to actively promote cultural diversity and exchange through intercultural dance in a environment held to the standards of Ars Nova. Inclusion, promotion and internationalization has been the base for creations of all our activities..
In the long run, we have great plans, we hope and we shall strive to provide and maintain the quality of the instructive and artistic environment, with an emphasis on creating, developing and maximizing talent potential.
Mission statement
ARS NOVA Dance Studio -since 1997- was incorporated in order to provide Oradea City inhabitants with the opportunity to experiment dancing in its true and complete meaning and significance, as well as the chance to personal development and evolution through dancing. Our purpose goes beyond the actual technical performance and excellence and it is first of all dedicated to the creation and consolidation of values that unfortunately seem to be less and less present: style, elegance, confidence and harmony.
Besides dance excellence, our company is a successful promoter of excellence at an individual level, since we are dedicated to the education of both the mind and the body. The Studio started off 25 years ago at the initiative of two gymnasts – multiple national champions- who were interested in molding and forming new talents in the art of jazz-ballet, classical ballet and rhythmic gymnastics. Throughout the 25 years of activity, our company has continuously grown and developed and we now count thousands of members, children aged between 3 and 13, who attend a wide variety of quality training classes: initiation gymnastics, fitness gymnastics, ballet, jazz-ballet, show-dance, majorette and rhythmic gymnastics, and they are carefully and professionally supervised by our specialized teachers and trained instructors.
